The morphological level holds a distinguished position in linguistic and literary studies due to its great importance in constructing and guiding meaning. Morphological forms go beyond mere linguistic expression to contribute to the shaping and deepening of meaning, particularly in poetic texts. A poet’s selection of one form over another is not arbitrary; rather, it reflects an artistic vision aimed at generating meaning and expanding the horizons of interpretation.
In Syrian revolutionary poetry, poets skillfully employed morphological structures to intensify and direct meaning in accordance with contextual demands. Thus, the significance of studying morphological semantics in Syrian revolutionary poetry becomes evident—not as a purely linguistic aspect only, but as an artistic tool charged with meaning, emotion, and vision.
This study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach, observing morphological phenomena in selected examples from Syrian revolutionary poetry and analyzing them within their artistic and semantic contexts. It highlights the semantic potential these forms possess in shaping poetic vision and constructing meaning.
