This study examines the rulings on “ghasb” (forced acquisition) in Islamic law, starting with its definition and distinguishing it from other violations such as theft, looting, and embezzlement, its consequences in terms of liability, and addresses the conditions under which these acquisitions are revoked—whether for “mithli” (fungible) or “qimi” (non-fungible) items—across the four major Sunni schools of thought.
