Plagiarism Screening Policy

The Idlib University Research Journal is committed to maintaining high standards of academic integrity and publication ethics.

All submitted manuscripts are routinely screened for plagiarism before entering the peer review process using plagiarism detection software. The journal currently uses Turnitin and/or iThenticate to assess textual similarity and identify possible instances of plagiarism, duplicate publication, or improper citation practices.

Manuscripts found to contain substantial plagiarism, duplicate content, or unethical use of previously published material may be rejected at any stage of the editorial process.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted work is original and appropriately cites all sources.
