Approved Journals for Researchers

The Idlib University Research Journal encourages researchers and academic staff to publish in reputable, peer-reviewed, and internationally indexed journals that meet recognized academic quality standards.

Approved journals generally include journals indexed in internationally recognized databases and citation indexes such as:

  • Web of Science (WoS)
  • Scopus
  • SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded)
  • SSCI (Social Sciences Citation Index)
  • AHCI (Arts & Humanities Citation Index)

·       Researchers are advised to ensure that journals meet the following criteria before submission:

  • Peer-reviewed publication process
  • Clear editorial and ethical policies
  • Valid ISSN and publisher information
  • Inclusion in recognized academic indexing databases
  • Compliance with international publication ethics standards
  • Transparent open access and licensing policies where applicable

·       The university may periodically review and update the list of approved journals according to academic regulations and research quality standards.

·       Researchers are encouraged to verify journal indexing status through official indexing platforms before submission.
