Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the impact of the work environment on job alienation among employees of the Technical Services Directorate in Hama Governorate. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach and used a questionnaire to collect data from a sample of (226) employees selected from a population of (536). The work environment was examined as the independent variable through three dimensions: organizational justice, social conditions, and occupational safety and health while job alienation represented the dependent variable. Data were analyzed using SPSS statistics through descriptive statistics and simple and multiple linear regression. The results revealed a statistically significant negative effect of the work environment on job alienation at the significance level (0.05). The findings also showed significant impact of organizational justice, social conditions, and occupational safety on job alienation.
