The impact of organizational virtuousness on the success of humanitarian organizations' projects in Syria: A case study of Binaa Organization for Development

Abstract

The study aimed to examine the impact of organizational virtuousness on the success of humanitarian projects, through an applied case study on Binaa Organization for Development, operating in Syria. The study adopted a descriptive approach, using a questionnaire as the data collection tool and administering it to a sample of (45) individuals from the organization's employees. Organizational virtuousness was examined as the independent variable through its dimensions: optimism, trust, integrity, compassion, and forgiveness, while the dependent variable (project success) was measured at its overall level. The results indicated that both organizational virtuousness and project success were at a high level. Furthermore, the findings revealed a statistically significant effect of organizational virtuousness on project success. The results also demonstrated that the dimensions of organizational virtuousness have varying degrees of influence on project success, with organizational trust and integrity emerging as the most influential dimensions.
